Babajide Sanwo-Olu has confessed that being the governor of Lagos State is a tough job that has taken its toll on him within his first few days in office.
Sanwo-Olu said he has lost some weight while speaking to state house correspondents at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
“I dare say that I have lost weight and probably will lose a little bit more but I think it’s what the job entails”, he told newsmen.
The governor restated the commitment of his administration to remove the heavy gridlocks at Apapa and the security of lives and properties in Lagos and the entire South-West region.
Mr Sanwo-Olu made the remark at the security meeting between the president and governors of the 36 states. “Security is everybody’s businesses but as a governor we also have a major responsibility to ensure that as number one security officers of the state, security of lives and properties is paramount.”
