Robyn Rihanna Fenty has been declared as the world’s richest female musician by Forbes after making a $600 million fortune.
Rihanna’s fortune comes from her fast growing comestic brand Fenty Beauty and fashion house in partnership with LVMH. Her current net worth of $600 million puts her ahead of other female colleagues like Madonna, Celine Dion and Beyonce.
The Bajan singer launched Fenty Beauty in September 2017 and in the past months the cosmetic brand as as grown immensely. Just a few weeks after launched Fenty Beauty raked in over $100 million in sales in it first few weeks.
“Fenty Beauty generated an estimated $570 million in revenue last year, after only 15 months in business. The entire operation is worth, conservatively, more than $3 billion. Forbes estimates thatLVMH owns an estimated 50% of it, while Rihanna has about 15%, a figure a spokesperson for the artist disputed but wouldn’t clarify further” – Forbes.
