Nigerian Musicians Femi Kuti, Vector, Ycee Plan Protest Against SARS Killings

Nigerian social media space is flooded with thousands of tweets following the unlawful killing of Kolade Johnson.

Kolade was another victim of police/SARS brutality and recklessness as he was hit by a stray bullet and eventually died after bleeding out.

Top Nigerian artistes joined other Nigerians on social media to raise their voices to condemn the extra judicial killing by the SARS operatives.

Banky W has further drawn the attention of the President Buhari and his VP Osinbajo to the incident to get justice for the slain victim Kolade Johnson.

As more reaction follows, Nigerian music acts Ycee, Femi Kuti, Vector, Dapo Tuburna are considering a peaceful protest against Police/SARS brutality. According to Ycee he is tired of tweeting and using hash tags he wants to ‘hit the streets’.

Vector responded and affirmed his willingness to join any protest as soon as he is back in Nigeria from New York.

Even four-time Grammy nominee Femi Kuti said he is ready to join any peaceful and organized protest against SARS.
