The governor of Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel has made a provision of 100 pieces of iMac PCs to the state university.
As part of the Akwa Ibom State government to boost the standard of education in the state, a timely gesture has been made to the Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) after the tertiary institution received computer equipment for the school. The iMac would better enhance ICT learning at AKSU.
100 Apple iMac Core i5 systems have been delivered to the management of Akwa ibom state university (AKSU) to improve ICT infrastructure and learning.
According to the Vice Chancellor, Professor Eno Ibanga, the University is committed to taking the lead in ICT in the country, in line with the Governor Udom Emmanuel’s vision towards ensuring 21st century complaint education for Akwa Ibom children and beyond.
Recall, AkSU last week got 3 of its programs (Mass Comm, History& International Studies and Marine Engineering/Naval Architecture)accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).The development means all 38 programs offered by the University are now fully accredited.
