The Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) has indefinitely adjourned hearing on the trial of embattled CJN Justice Walter Onnoghen. Onnoghen was being tried by the CCT over false asset declaration case filed against him.
The adjournment was announced on Monday in Abuja by the CCT Chairman, Danladi Umar. This notice was made in compliance to an interim order by the Court of Appeal, Abuja.
“The appellate had on Thursday ordered the tribunal to stay proceedings pending ruling on an application to stay proceedings filed by Onnoghen.”
