Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar yesterday arrived Washington DC, US, alongside Bukola Saraki, Senate President.
Atiku made his first trip to America after about 12 years. He officially announced his arrival in the States via his verified Twitter handle.

Part of what the former Vice President would be doing during his trip would be a meeting with some top US government officers and the Business community.
Photos of his trip to the US has flooded the internet.
Again, the US Chamber of Commerce, through Katharine Cooksey, senior manager, media and external communications confirmed a meeting with Atiku on Friday with The CableNG.
“Thank you for reaching out to us. The event you mention is private, closed press, and off the record,” Cooksey said.
“Only U.S.-Africa Business Center members are invited. No reporters will be able to attend.”
